Many of us have watched the devastation in Gaza with heartbreak, outrage, and a deep sense of frustration. We have marched, organized, educated, written letters, contacted elected officials, and stood in solidarity with Palestinians calling for justice. Yet many people continue to ask the same question: What happens when those in power refuse to be held accountable?
On October 10, 2026, the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom US (WILPF US), Veterans For Peace (VFP), and American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) will convene the People’s Tribunal on U.S. Government Complicity in Gaza. Taking place in Seattle, Washington, and streaming live nationwide, the tribunal will invite a grand jury of community members to consider evidence, testimony, and legal analysis related to the role of the U.S. government, Administration, elected officials and judiciary in the ongoing crisis in Gaza.
